RB Ronnie Wingo joins Bills practice squad

With the 12 p.m. ET deadline having passed for teams to place claims on players who were waived Friday or Saturday, teams may now begin establishing up to an eight-man practice squad.

The Buffalo Bills have begun that process, signing running back Ronnie Wingo to their practice squad, per a source.

Wingo, an undrafted rookie, was in training camp with the Atlanta Falcons. The Arkansas product, who was scouted by some teams as a fullback, is listed at 6-foot-3, 231 pounds.

He rushed 10 times for 42 yards this preseason for Atlanta.
