Advance-scouting the Jets

The Buffalo Bills are wrapping up their week of preparation for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, but it will be hard to miss their Week 3 opponent, the New York Jets, playing tonight against the New England Patriots.

Just don't expect Bills coach Doug Marrone to be tuning in.

"I really wish you could shadow us coaches," Marrone joked earlier Thursday. "Monday night we're game-planning. Tonight is the big red-zone night. All you're doing 24 hours a day is watching football. The last thing I'm going to do is go home and watch a game on TV. When I'm not coaching, I live a very boring life. I try to spend it with my family or I read. For me, reading is a little bit of an escape."

For the rest of us digging into football tonight instead of a novel, ESPN has you covered for Jets-Patriots.

ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss and Field Yates, ESPNNewYork.com's Rich Cimini and Jane McManus, ESPN NFL Insider K.C. Joyner and others will be holding a live chat throughout the game.
