Dolphins-Colts final injury report

Here are the final injury reports for the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts before their Week 2 matchup on Sunday:

Out: QB Pat Devlin (ankle), CB Jamar Taylor (groin), CB Will Davis (toe)

Questionable: CB Dimitri Patterson (groin)

Probable: DE Dion Jordan (shoulder), TE Dion Sims, LB Josh Kaddu (illness), WR Brandon Gibson (wrist), LB Dannell Ellerbe (pectoral), LB Jonathan Freeny (shoulder), S Reshad Jones (thumb)

Out: RB Vick Ballard (knee), WR David Reed (quad)

Questionable: TE Dwayne Allen (hip), LB Kavell Conner (ankle), LB Jerrell Freeman (quad), LB Erik Walden (hamstring)

Probable: LB Pat Angerer (concussion)

Injury analysis: The one surprise for Miami is Davis being out with a toe injury. He practiced all week and appeared to have a chance to make his regular-season debut. However, the Dolphins preferred to be cautious with Davis. Patterson is questionable but said he expects to play. For the Colts, losing Ballard for the season with a torn ACL this week is a blow, especially in the short term. Indianapolis will rely heavily this week on running back Ahmad Bradshaw. Miami also will keep an eye on Allen’s status. The Dolphins struggled covering tight ends in Week 1, as well as last season.
