There's a three-way tie for first place in the AFC East. All four teams are within one game of each other at the halfway point.
Sounds like a great time to take a look at each team's remaining schedule.
ESPN researcher David Bearman broke down the final eight weeks and determined the Miami Dolphins have the easiest schedule bases on their opponents' winning percentages.
The Dolphins are 4-4, one game behind the other AFC East clubs. But their future opponents are an abysmal 24-40 on the season, a .375 winning percentage. That includes another round against the New England Patriots, New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, all of whom are two wins over .500.
Even more favorable is that the Seahawks, Raiders and 49ers all are making the trip to South Florida. The farthest from home the Dolphins must travel is to the Central Time Zone for St. Louis and Kansas City.
What's more, their Dec. 7 game against the Bills will be played in comfort. That game was moved to the Rogers Centre (formerly the SkyDome) in Toronto.
The winning percentage of the Dolphins' remaining schedule is 149 points below those of the Patriots' opponents, who've gone a combined 33-30.
The Jets will face teams with an aggregate .500 record, but one of those teams is the 8-0 Tennessee Titans.
The Bills have the second-most favorable schedule. Their upcoming foes have gone a combined 29-35, a winning percentage of .453.
