Previewing Bills-Buccaneers

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Welcome to Ralph Wilson Stadium, where the Buffalo Bills continue their preseason against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4:30 p.m. ET).

Weather conditions: Temperatures are currently in the mid-70s and skies are mostly cloudy. There is a chance of rain later in the afternoon, although there could also be breaks of sun throughout the afternoon. Winds are light. Not a bad day for football.

Stadium renovations: This is the first game this preseason at Ralph Wilson Stadium, which underwent $130 million in renovations this offseason. The upgrades include new videoboards, a press box, concession areas, and gates. The Bills will still look to either build a new stadium or more significantly renovate Ralph Wilson Stadium, but the offseason changes bring the 41-year old venue closer to the modern era of NFL stadiums.

Monitoring Sammy Watkins: The expectation is that Watkins (ribs) will not play, barring a late decision otherwise from team doctors. Without Watkins, expect Mike Williams, Robert Woods, and Chris Hogan to be the top trio at wide receiver and most likely play through the first half.

Live tweets: We’ll be tweeting before, during, and after the game. Those will appear in our Bills live feed.

McAuley gets the call: Terry McAuley is the official for this afternoon's game. As has been the case throughout the preseason, expect plenty of illegal contact and defensive holding calls. In a change from the first three preseason games for the Bills, extra points will return to their normal spot at the 2-yard line.
