2010 opponents finalized

The NFL has announced all of the opponents for the 2010 season.

The AFC East will play the AFC North and NFC North next year. The remaining two non-divisional games are determined by where each team finished within the division. For example, the third-place Miami Dolphins will play the third-place teams from the AFC South and AFC West.

Given the tightly bound midsection of the AFC standings heading into Sunday, it was too difficult to project most of the inter-conference opponents until the season was finished.

Dates and kickoff times will be determined in the spring, with the first game being played Sept. 9, a Thursday night. The regular season will end Jan. 2.
