Bills without both starting cornerbacks

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Brett Favre's afternoon is getting increasingly pleasant.

The Jets scored touchdowns on their first two drives Sunday at the Meadowlands, the second an 11-yard pass from Favre to Jerricho Cotchery with about four minutes left in the first quarter.

Bad news for the Bills is that left cornerback Terrence McGee is out of the game with back spasms, and his return is questionable. The Bills' right-side starting corner, Jabari Greer, was deactivated because of a groin injury.

That leaves a pair of rookies, Leodis McKelvin and Reggie Corner, to pick up the slack against Favre, Cotchery and Laveranues Coles.

Also for the Bills, rookie receiver James Hardy suffered a knee injury on their opening drive and was taken in for examinations. His status is uncertain.
