Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Monday from around the Web:
According to Jodi Wagner of the Palm Beach Post, free-agent kick returner and receiver Devin Hester says the Dolphins have expressed interest.
Morning take: Hester says 13 teams are interested, but it remains to be seen how much interest the Dolphins have. Miami has a solid kick returner in Marcus Thigpen. Hester could be spinning his wheels for Miami.
The Dolphins team website reports new left tackle Branden Albert will wear No. 71.
Morning take: Albert wore No. 76 with the Kansas City Chiefs. But Albert is starting anew in Miami, and that includes a number change.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald says fans should be cautious of the Dolphins’ slow building process.
Morning take: The Dolphins are focusing on value signings, which is hard to argue against. However, head coach Joe Philbin cannot have an awful year if he wants to keep his job long-term.
Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel examines whether the Dolphins should find a tailback in free agency or the draft.
Morning take: There is a case to be made either way. Youth at tailback usually is the way to go. But a proven commodity could work, as well.
