AFC East links: Darrelle Revis sounds off

Buffalo Bills

Pro Football Weekly addresses Buffalo's needs heading into the 2013 season.

With the NFL combine in the books, the Bills have now turned their focus to pro days.

Miami Dolphins

Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel looks at some free-agent defensive linemen the Dolphins may target this offseason.

Defensive tackle Randy Starks was locked in for at least one more season after the Dolphins decided to use the franchise tag on him.

New England Patriots

Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com: "The Patriots let Monday's franchise-tag deadline pass without using the tag -- on [Wes] Welker or anyone else -- which marks the first time the club has passed on the opportunity since 2008."

Ron Borges of the Boston Herald says not using the tag was a risky move.

New York Jets

Darrelle Revis was quite candid about his future in a recent interview with Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson. “This hit home,” Revis told Robinson in the Real Rob Report from the cornerback’s training facility in Arizona. “This definitely hit home especially being one of the best players out there and come to find out you’re getting shopped. It really hits home. But my main focus is it really doesn’t matter where I be at, I know what I can do. I’m confident in what I do… whether it be there with the New York Jets or if it be with another team, I have to do what I have to do and play ball… and do my services with that team.”

Quarterback David Garrard said joining the Jets would be "the ideal situation" for the veteran.
