The Buffalo Bills released veteran quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, who was in a three-way battle for the starting job. That leaves Manuel and Kevin Kolb competing to start in Week 1 against the New England Patriots.
Kolb signed a one-year contract with the Bills this offseason. It’s apparent the Bills believe Kolb and Manuel have outperformed Jackson this spring.
