Morning take: Browns will draft a QB

Here are the most interesting stories Monday in the AFC North:

  • Cleveland Browns president Mike Holmgren will take a quarterback in the NFL draft. But it probably won't happen in the first round.

Morning take: The Browns need a player with the No. 7 overall pick who can help next year. If they're committed to Jake Delhomme as the starter in 2010, a rookie quarterback would merely hold a clipboard next season.

Morning take: Bengals beat writer Joe Reedy believes the Bengals need a tight end, and I certainly agree.

  • The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of many teams interested in Idaho offensive guard Mike Iupati.

Morning take: Iupati would be a great fit for Pittsburgh. The Steelers need a mauler to run behind on third-and-short.

Morning take: We will have more on Webb and others in similar situations this afternoon (hint, hint).
