Following up on a previous report in the AFC North blog, University of Texas quarterback Colt McCoy will arrive in Cleveland Monday for a two-day visit with the Browns that will run through April 13.
The Browns have expressed significant interest in McCoy heading into next week's NFL draft. Cleveland likes McCoy's pinpoint accuracy and believes he could fit well in a West Coast offense.
After trading former starter Brady Quinn to the Denver Broncos and releasing former Pro Bowler Derek Anderson, Cleveland is searching for its quarterback of the future. McCoy is a potential target for the Browns early in the second round.
