Bettis: 'Big Ben' should miss two games

A former teammate of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger decided to weigh in on his situation.

Jerome Bettis, who won a Super Bowl with Roethlisberger after the 2005 season, says his former teammate should be suspended for two games.

Bettis and Roethlisberger have a good rapport from their days with the Steelers. "The Bus" was one of the veterans who took "Big Ben" under his wing as a rookie and, as a result, Roethlisberger helped talk Bettis out of retirement so the former running back could play one more season to win a Super Bowl.

In other Steelers news, tight end Matt Spaeth, cornerback William Gay and offensive lineman Willie Colon signed their one-year tenders Friday, the team announced.
