Morning take: Is Max Starks done?

Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:

  • A source tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Steelers left tackle Max Starks' neck injury has put his season in jeopardy.

Morning take: This would be a big blow to Pittsburgh, which doesn't have much depth to begin with. The Steelers may have to move Flozell Adams to left tackle or hope backup Jonathan Scott could fill that role.

  • The Cleveland Plain Dealer previews the "Ryan Bowl" between New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan and Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.

Morning take: The twins are very competitive and very good coaches, but they will be on opposite sidelines Sunday. There are plenty of intriguing stories in this game.

Morning take: Every AFC North team at some point this year had issues settling for field goals. Baltimore needs to find a way to execute better in that area.

  • The Cincinnati Enquirer takes a look at a frustrated Chad Ochocinco.

Morning take: He's been shut down in too many games and it's finally boiled over. The Bengals' receiver isn’t the type of player who can be a decoy for long. He wants the football.
