Along with Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts, Palmer has been one of the biggest thorns in the side of Baltimore. In eight seasons, Cincinnati's franchise quarterback is 9-4 in 13 career starts, including a 3-1 mark the past two seasons.
Now the Bengals have to explore other options in 2011. Palmer may have a change of heart and return, or the Bengals could soften their stance and trade Palmer. But, either way, the Ravens likely will keep one eye on the offseason developments in Cincinnati.
