Poll Friday: Is Colt McCoy the answer?

Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur gave second-year quarterback Colt McCoy a strong endorsement this week. So have Browns president Mike Holmgren and general manager Tom Heckert.

Now it's your turn.

In our latest edition of "Poll Friday," we ask our AFC North community if McCoy is the long-term solution in Cleveland. He had eight starts under his belt as a rookie and went 2-6 last season. This is a critical second year for McCoy to prove himself.

There seems to be a lot of optimism in Cleveland with McCoy. He showed some flashes and leadership during a tough 5-11 season for the Browns. But McCoy also looked like a rookie at times. Scouts Inc. was not impressed, predicting Cleveland will be the NFL's worst team and will draft Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck with the top overall pick in 2012.

Is Scouts Inc. correct or will McCoy prove his critics wrong this year? Cast your vote on McCoy's long-term future in Cleveland and share your thoughts in the comments section below.
