FoxworthThis could signal the end of Foxworth's disappointing run with the Ravens. He is scheduled to make $5.6 million in 2012, the final year of his contract. It's unlikely that the Ravens would bring him back at that price.
Foxworth, who played a major role with the players union during the lockout, didn't show any confidence in his surgically repaired knee this year. He suffered the season-ending knee injury just before the start of training camp in 2010. Foxworth, who is making $4.4 million this season, was inactive last Sunday in St. Louis.
Foxworth was one of the Ravens' biggest free-agent additions in 2009, when he signed a four-year, $27.2 million contract (which included a $4 million signing bonus). The Ravens, though, have gotten just one season out of Foxworth, who had a strong finish to the 2009 season.
