AccuScore, ESPN's prediction machine, has the Cleveland Browns beating the visiting St. Louis Rams 53 percent of the time. In the simulations, quarterback Colt McCoy is throwing two or more touchdowns one-third of the time.
This will be the first meeting for Browns coach Pat Shurmur against St. Louis, where he was the offensive coordinator in 2009 and 2010. The Rams are struggling on offense just as much as the Browns. St. Louis has scored 100 points, which is more than just one other NFL team (Jacksonville).
But Shurmur brushed off the reunion. "I think there are some personal relationships there," he said. "It'll be fun to say hello to some people that I worked with. Beyond that, it's the Browns and the Rams."
