Rice advances in 'Madden 13' cover vote

Ray Rice is undecided whether he will attend offseason camps because of the franchise tag. But we do know where Rice will be this week -- battling in the Elite Eight of the Madden 13 cover vote.

Rice pulled off a second-round upset, knocking out New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. In the closest vote yet in the tournament-style setup, Rice edged Brees by 2 percent (51 percent to 49 percent).

The quarterfinals present an even tougher matchup for Rice. He goes against Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is considered the favorite to win it all.

The other players remaining are: Cam Newton, Larry Fitzgerald, Patrick Willis, Victor Cruz, Calvin Johnson and Rob Gronkowski. That means Rice is the last running back standing.
