Cribbs released from the hospital

Cleveland Browns receiver and return specialist Joshua Cribbs was released from the hospital Tuesday after being hit on the final play of Monday’s 16-0 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Cribbs had all the feeling in his limbs last night and his release signifies things are progressing well. A fine likely will be issued to Baltimore defensive end Dwan Edwards for the hit, which came near midfield after Cribbs threw a lateral to tight end Robert Royal.

Cleveland starting quarterback Brady Quinn also could get fined this week after his low hit that knocked Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs out of the game.
