Browns taking control

CLEVELAND -- The Browns may have felt they owed the Baltimore Ravens a good second half performance.

Following a late meltdown in their first meeting this season that resulted in a 28-10 loss, Cleveland is coming out strong in the second half with two third-quarter touchdowns to take a 27-13 lead.

Derek Anderson has been solid, throwing for a pair of touchdowns on back-to-back drives. The Ravens are trying to pressure defensively, but Anderson is being protected well and getting rid of the football quickly.

In another note, Cleveland starting offensive guard Eric Steinbach left the game with a rib injury. He went back into the tunnel to get it looked at and his return is questionable.

UPDATE (3:26): The Ravens responded on the ensuing drive with running back La'Ron McClain scoring a 1-yard touchdown to cut the deficit to 27-20.
