Chat Rewind: Ravens' final record

Here are some highlights from today's AFC North chat:

Blankenship (Medina, OH): How do you leave Phil Dawson off your list? 17-17 in field goals, with four 50-plus yarders. Last time I checked, 17-17 beats 15-16 no matter what team you are on. Stop the bias!

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Justin Tucker has just as many 50 yarders and has one game-winning FG. He also has 27 touchbacks this season. I will take that over one miss. And how much bias do I have against the Browns? Oh, there are more Browns players than Ravens ones on the midseason team. How many players do you want on the all-division team from a two-win Browns team?

John (Charlotte, NC): I know the election is over, but who gets your vote in the Pittsburgh backfield as the best choice going forward?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): My vote goes to Dwyer. He is a combination of Redman and Mendenhall in how he can run inside and outside.

Andrew (New Jersey): Jamison, Any update on the status of DeCastro and if or when the Steelers may activate him?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): With the way the offensive line has been playing, is this even a concern right now? But to answer your question, December.

Mike (Raleigh): I was really disappointed in Pat Shurmur's play calling during this past Browns/Ravens game. Do you think he just sealed his fate with that game?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): His fate was sealed long before last Sunday. Nice guy but is simply overwhelmed as a head coach.

sam (portland, or): Will the steelers wear their 1933 throwbacks again this year? They are kind of growing on me (which means i'm a total homer...).

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Next Sunday against the Ravens. Mark your calendars.

Zach (Ohio): I think it's safe to say the Bengals will probably lose to the Giants this Sunday. If they fail the beat Kansas City in week 11 I could see the Bengals losing out the rest of the season, finishing with a 12 game losing streak. If this happens would there be any major changes in Cincy? Thanks.

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): I know that is a possibility, especially the way the Bengals have been playing lately. But I would be shocked if they finished with a 12-game losing streak. I can see three to four more wins on the schedule.

g_patrick15 (Atlanta): What exactly will it take for Paul Brown to pull the plug on the Marvin Lewis era in Cincy?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): It's Mike Brown and it would probably take the 12-game losing streak that we were talking about before. But I don't see anything happening with Lewis. He just signed his extension before the season.

Mike newyork [via mobile]: Ravens 11-5 finish. Thoughts?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Getting to 10 or 11 wins is realistic. They're 6-2 right now and should beat the Raiders on Sunday. They also should split with the Steelers. If they sweep the Manning brothers at home or win at Cincy, that would get them to that range.

Michael (Cincinnati): Must be in Colorado or Washington if you have the Ravens at 11-5.

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Give me the losses in the second half of the schedule.

Corey (Fantasy Land): Steelers twice, San Diego beat them last year. Why not again? Denver and New York Giants.

Michael (Cincinnati): Steelers, twice, Chargers in SD, Denver, NYG. 9-7-ish

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Again, you're assuming three losses by the Ravens at home (Pitt, Denver and NYG). That's a big assumption.
