Horrible first half for Joe Flacco

BALTIMORE -- Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco hasn't fared any better in Jim Caldwell's first game as offensive coordinator.

Flacco turned the ball over twice in the first half, including having an interception returned 98 yards for a touchdown. He also fumbled on a third-and-1 sneak at midfield. The Broncos have converted two Flacco turnovers into 10 points in taking a 17-0 halftime lead.

In seven first-half drives, the Ravens produced five punts, two turnovers and 119 total yards. Flacco is 7-of-15 for 78 yards, with 43 yards coming on a deep pass to Jacoby Jones.

The Ravens' defense, which is without its top three tacklers, has surprisingly played well. Baltimore has only given up 10 points to Peyton Manning and the Denver offense.
