Phil Dawson: By the numbers

A look back at the Browns career of kicker Phil Dawson, who signed a one-year deal with the 49ers on Tuesday:

0 -- Remaining players now left from the Browns' 1999 expansion season.

1 -- Number of Pro Bowls. He earned his first trip to Honolulu in 2012. Only two other players in NFL history -- Tampa Bay tight end Dave Moore (2006) and San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Ray Brown (2001) -- waited at least 14 seasons to earn their first trip to Honolulu, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

7 -- Field goals over 50 yards this season. Only Minnesota's Blair Walsh had more with 10.

9 -- Field goals (out of 10 attempts) over the past three seasons when the temperature was below 40 degrees.

14 -- NFL-best field goals over 50 yards since 2011 (he's missed only one attempt). Oakland's Sebastian Janikowski is second with 13.

30 -- Career-high touchbacks this season. This surpasses his previous best of 12 in 2008.

70.6 -- The league's third-best success rate on career field goal attempts over 50 yards (minimum 20 tries). Jeff Wilkins (72.2 percent) and Rob Bironas (71 percent) are the only ones ahead of Dawson.

84.0 -- NFL-best conversion rate for kickers with at least 300 field goals. Matt Stover is second at 83.7 percent.

84.9 -- Conversion rate at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Opposing kickers have converted 76.6 percent of their field goals.

215 -- Regular-season games played for the Browns. This trails Clay Matthews (232) and Lou Groza (216). In comparison, Dawson played 17 more games for the Browns than Ozzie Newsome.

305 -- Career field goals, most in Browns history. This tops Groza's total by 71.

1,271 -- Career points, which are 78 shy of Groza's team record.
