Here are the most interesting stories Monday in the AFC North:
After a string of slow starts, the Baltimore Ravens throttled the Detroit Lions early and often in a 48-3 victory.
Morning take: This was the Ravens team I expected to see for the past two months. We will have more on Baltimore in the next post (hint, hint).
Following a 30-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, are the Cincinnati Bengals vertically challenged?
Morning take: I’m still holding out some hope for Cincinnati’s offense. I’m not 100 percent sure if the Bengals can’t pass deep or won’t pass deep, and there is a difference.
Here are some additional notes several days after the Cleveland Browns' win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Morning take: Cleveland finally has something to hang its hat on during a bad season. Can the team build on that momentum?
Meanwhile, can Steelers (6-7) coach Mike Tomlin keep things together after losing five straight?
Morning take: This will definitely be an interesting three weeks in Pittsburgh. Tomlin loves challenges, and he has one on his hands in December.
