Suggs 'wishes' Big Ben a speedy recovery

Could Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs really miss playing against Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger?

From 2004 to 2011, Suggs sacked Roethlisberger 15.5 times, which is more than any other NFL defender during that time. Suggs didn't get a chance to add to that total last season because Roethlisberger missed both meetings with Baltimore.

When asked about Roethlisberger's minor knee surgery on Wednesday, Suggs told the NFL Network: “You know, it just isn’t the same game when the two teams don’t have all their parts playing. So you’re absolutely right, I do wish him well and I hope for him to have a speedy recovery."

Suggs finished the last line with a big grin, which certainly leaves his comments open to interpretation. But Suggs and the Ravens won't have to worry about Roethlisberger missing any games from this latest procedure.

If Roethlisberger had this surgery during the season, ESPN injury expert Stephania Bell said his timetable to return would be two to four weeks. That's more than enough time for Roethlisberger to recover for the start of training camp, which is scheduled for late July.

Roethlisberger has a 9-5 career record (including playoffs) against the Ravens, but he has lost the last two meetings.
