Ravens' Ray Rice expected to practice

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice is expected to practice Wednesday, according to coach John Harbaugh.

The Ravens begin practice Wednesday around 1:45 p.m. Rice missed his first game since 2008 on Sunday and didn't practice last week because of a hip flexor strain.

Harbaugh said he was "very hopeful" Rice would practice this week.

"I would expect that," Harbaugh said. "That's the plan right now. We're going to try to get him out there today and see what he can do and have our fingers crossed."
