Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC North:

  • The Cleveland Browns claimed former New England Patriots linebacker and 2008 draft pick Bo Ruud off waivers.

Morning take: Patriots coach Bill Belichick gave up on Ruud after one year. Now Browns coach Eric Mangini wants to see if he can get something out of him.
