Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC North:
Former NFL quarterback Joe Theismann thinks Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco will have a great year in 2011.
Morning take: Theismann joins Phil Simms as the second former quarterback to endorse Flacco this upcoming season. The pressure is on for Flacco to take the next step and help the Ravens make a Super Bowl run.
The Cincinnati Bengals are excited for this season after a series of team workouts this week.
Morning take: How much of an impact these workouts have remains to be seen. But, at the very least, they build team chemistry. The Bengals have a lot of young players and needed help in that area.
Here is a cool "Madden NFL 12" simulation of the Pittsburgh Steelers versus the Cleveland Browns.
Morning take: I noticed Browns quarterback Colt McCoy threw an interception against Pittsburgh on the opening drive. Is this a sign of things to come?
Speaking of the Browns, do they have a legitimate rushing attack with tailbacks Peyton Hillis and Montario Hardesty?
Morning take: Hillis will do his part, but the depth behind him depends on Hardesty's ability to stay healthy. Hardesty looked good in camps but didn't have a chance to show what he can do in the regular season.
