The Cleveland Browns announced two additional hires Wednesday evening. The team added new strength and conditioning coach Kent Johnston and Mark Schiefelbein as vice president of football operations.
Johnston is returning to the NFL after a seven-year hiatus when he worked with Browns president Mike Holmgren as strength and conditioning coach of the Seattle Seahawks (1999-2003). Johnston also had a two-year stint with the University of Alabama (2004-05) before leaving football altogether.
Schienfelbein came from the Green Bay Packers, where he spent 18 years as director of football administration. He also spent time working with Holmgren in Green Bay.
