Jack Del Rio said at his season wrap-up press conference that he planned no staff changes but that he expected a few of his assistants might leave for greener pastures.
Defensive assistant Tom Williams is leaving Jacksonville for New Haven, Conn., where he will be the first black head coach at Yale.
Vito Stellino reported details after the AP said Williams will be introduced Wednesday afternoon.
Williams replaces Jack Siedlecki, who retired after 12 seasons to become an assistant athletic director at Yale. Before Siedlecki, Carm Cozza coached the Bulldogs for 32 seasons.
Williams started with the Jaguars in 2007 as an assistant special-teams coach, then shifted to defensive assistant in his second season with the team. Before that he was a college assistant at Hawaii, Washington, Stanford and San Jose State.
