Three non-mainstream pieces of interest on AFC South topics:
Lance Zierlein says Houston’s backs are being coached differently and that Arian Foster is more willing to take it outside. Now that he mentions it, I have seen the Texans run wide more and think it’s a good development.
Nate Dunlevy compares this year’s Colts to last year and sees a better team. I’ve said multiple times that I agree, though I can’t say it ensures the same or better results.
Bob McClellan believes the Titans must have an 800-yard receiver in order to win big. I think a) There are all different routes to winning and the Titans have fared reasonably well de-emphasizing receivers for backs and tight ends in the Jeff Fisher era and, b) Kenny Britt’s going to top that number this year.
