Denver at Houston: No AJ, no Bailey, no surprise

HOUSTON -- It's hot out so the roof is closed at Reliant Stadium.

It's a preseason game, so there are stars on the sideline -- Andre Johnson and Champ Bailey might be a featured matchup in a regular season game, but not tonight. Andre Davis starts for Johnson; Domonique Foxworth starts for Bailey. None of the scratches are surprises.

[UPDATE: There is actually a surprise. Chris Brown, initially scratched on the list in the press box, is dressed and will play. The Texans running back has been dealing with back issues.]

Out for the Texans:

LB Chaun Thompson (hamstring)
T Scott Jackson (foot)
G Fred Weary (hamstring/ leg)
T Ephraim Salaam (knee)
WR Andre Johnson (groin)

Out for the Broncos:
S Hamza Abdullah (groin)
CB Champ Bailey (hamstring)
RB Ryan Torian (elbow)
DT Dewayne Robertson (knee)
C Tom Nalen (knee)
TE Chad Mustard (knee)

Bad game to forget the binoculars as the press box is high here. Whoops.

Perhaps we'll be more big picture tonight.
