Colts announce two coaching additions

A week after David Walker’s move to coach running backs for Indianapolis came to light through the University of Maryland, where he was working, the Colts have seen fit to officially announce his addition to their staff.

They’ve also hired Devin Fitzsimmons as a coaching assistant.

Walker, 41, is a 16-year collegiate coaching veteran. He joins the Colts after serving a brief stint for the Terrapins in the same capacity. He also tutored running backs including LeSean McCoy at Pittsburgh from 2005-10.

Fitzsimmons, 28, was tight ends coach at Richmond in 2010. He has also coached held at Virginia and Kansas State.

Indy’s announcement included nothing from Jim Caldwell or Bill Polian.
