Peyton Manning returned to the Colts’ facility Friday and Saturday Chris Mortensen reports.
More from Mort:
Manning did some light therapy and watched a portion of Friday's practice but there are no plans for him to attend today's home opener against the Browns. Doctors have told him he needs to rest body and mind and there's no safe haven with a crowd and certainly not in the bench area.
Manning will begin a next-level rehab and a limited level of football activity, presumably watching plenty of practice and game tape.
It’s about what you’d expect at this stage for him, but I wanted to pass it along as I know a lot of you are curious about every incremental step for him.
