I’ve always been a bit of an Eli Manning skeptic, and unreasonably so. I’ve seen more of the Giants this year, and he’s won me over. His ability to make big plays in the face of pressure is spectacular.
So Manning going against a less-than-stellar Patriots pass defense is one of the big reasons I think the Giants will win Super Bowl XLVI.
I am concerned, however, that Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, cast as underdogs despite the point spread, will have a plan they can execute to show us all just how wrong we are to have spent so much time talking Giants, Giants, Giants.
