Evidence says Titans' Fuller has been solid

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- From the excellent folks at ESPN Stats and Information come these numbers, which serve to me as evidence that Vincent Fuller rates as the one defensive back who doesn’t deserve much of the discredit for what the Steelers and Texans have done to Tennessee through the air so far.

That means the Titans have been shredded when they’ve had a base defense with only starting corners Cortland Finnegan and Nick Harper on the field, but much better in nickel when Fuller joins them.

If I’m the Jets, I’m not quick to go three-wide when it’s clear the Titans have fared far worse against the pass out of two-back, two-tight end or one-receiver sets.
