What I think the Jaguars are thinking

What I think they’re thinking at the headquarters of the Jacksonville Jaguars this afternoon.

Look, we need more than any sort of moral victory around here, and when our owner is on “60 Minutes” and qualifies as the face of the franchise beyond Maurice Jones-Drew that’s an issue for the franchise. We played good defense against a high-powered passing game and Aaron Rodgers while missing corners Derek Cox and Rashean Mathis and safety Dwight Lowery. But there was a lot of good to take out of what we did in Green Bay, just like there was a lot of good to take out of the Oakland game. There are small steps and moments we can carve out of losses. They simply aren’t enough to justify this team as it’s currently constructed, injured or not. And that’s something we can take some pride in. Thing is we need more than some degree of pride. We need something that stalls the conversation about what we’d do with a top three draft pick. Detroit's probably going to score some points n Sunday. Will we?
