What I think the Colts are thinking

What I think they’re thinking at the headquarters of the Indianapolis Colts this afternoon…

That was certainly disappointing. We could have been a lot more competitive in Houston and kept the pressure on for the division title. Instead we stalled in the red zone, let J.J. Watt have his way with us, we couldn’t stop Andre Johnson early or Arian Foster late. We’re not thinking about the fact that they simply have more talent than us, though that might ease our regrets a bit. We’re still in a great spot. Win in Kansas City against the Chiefs, who are currently in line for the No. 1 pick in the draft, and we’re in the playoffs. If we don’t pull that one off, we’ll have a Week 17 chance at home in a rematch against the Texans, who may have nothing left to play for and rest some of the starters we couldn’t contain. We can lose both and still be in providing the Jets and Steelers get to eight losses, because we can’t lose more than seven.
