RTC: Texans find an offensive line coach

Reading the coverage of the Houston Texans...

Want to see former Texans coach Gary Kubiak wearing his brand new Ravens jacket? The Baltimore Sun posted a video here, along with this story from Jeff Zrebiec and Aaron Wilson detailing the Ravens' search process for an offensive coordinator.

Meanwhile the Houston Chronicle's John McClain got his hands on some quotes from Kubiak's introductory press conference with the Ravens in which Kubiak talks about his time in Houston. Those were Kubiak's first public comments since being fired. "I've got nothing but great -- not good, but great -- memories of my time with the Texans," Kubiak said Monday. "I wouldn't change the experience for anything. I'm a better coach and a better man because of my time in Houston."

Here's also a short note from the Chronicle about the Texans' new offensive line coach, Paul Dunn. Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com first reported the hire. Dunn was the Falcons' offensive line coach.

CSNHouston.com's Dave Zangaro reached out to former players who played for Texans defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel and put together this piece on their thoughts. One likened Crennel to Teddy Ruxpin. One quote from a former Patriots player: "You don’t want to mess up for Bill (Belichick) because you’re afraid for your job. You don’t want to mess up for Romeo because he was like a dad and you didn’t want to disappoint him."
