Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky The Houston Texans may not have beaten Baltimore if they played a clean, turnover free game.
They weren't going to come close with a four-interception day by Sage Rosenfels.
It comes up over and over again because it's an issue over and over again. The Texans emphasized reducing turnovers and increasing takeaways all offseason. But plug in Rosenfels against Baltimore's tough defense and all those messages and pep talks fade away.
Houston had only 23:43 of possession time and while Rosenfels threw for 294 yards and a touchdown, he was outdone by rookie Joe Flacco -- whose 185 yards and two touchdowns came with no turnovers.
Houston quarterbacks have now thrown 14 interceptions this season.
