The Houston Texans own the AFC South crown no matter what happens in their season finale in Indianapolis on Sunday. But voters in ESPN.com’s NFL Power Rankings see the Texans and Colts as quite close.
The Texans dropped from third to seventh after losing to Minnesota, and the Colts move up one spot to eighth after their win in Kansas City.
What happens if the Colts win Sunday and split the season series? Does our esteemed panel put the Colts above the Texans even though they would have each won once head to head, and even though Houston won the division?
If things play out that way at Lucas Oil Stadium I’ll be very curious to see the voting.
