JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- David Garrard left everyone in Northeastern Florida wondering about that $60 million contract Thursday night. He played big until things got really important, then failed his team. (Supporting cast is poor, I know. It's duly noted).
Hank Gargiulo of ESPN Stats & Analysis shared these details of how Garrard started hot and finished on ice.
For the first one-third of the game, Garrard was about as sharp as Peyton Manning. But he dropped off in a big way after the Jaguars took a 14-0 lead, bottoming out with Keiwan Ratliff's interception return for a touchdown that gave the Colts the victory.
