A Colts' claim; Tryouts for Indy, Houston

Looking for help at cornerback, where they are currently only three deep with guys they trust, the Colts put in a claim on former Denver cornerback Jack Williams.

So did the Lions, who got him, and the Browns and Eagles, who would have been awarded him ahead of Indianapolis.

Two other things of note in the division that came to light Monday:

The Texans tried out four tight ends: Tony Curtis, Tory Humphrey, Joe Klopfenstein and Martrez Milner.

The Colts tried out linebacker Danny Lansanah.
