Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie active for Giants on MNF

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who's been struggling for more than a month with leg and back injuries and was listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Colts at MetLife Stadium, is active and will dress for the game.

It remains to be seen how much Rodgers-Cromartie will be able to play, as he was active for the game two weeks ago in Dallas but barely played, but Rodgers-Cromartie did more work in practice last week than he did the week before the Dallas game, so the Giants are hopeful they can get more out of him than they did that day.

Also active for the Giants is rookie defensive tackle Jay Bromley, who could see some action in pass-rushing situations with starter Cullen Jenkins out with a calf injury.

Running back Rashad Jennings will miss his third straight game with a knee injury, leaving Andre Williams to handle starting backfield duties. Jennings was on the field helping rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. with his pregame warmups as he usually does, and he hopes to be able to spend at least part of the game on the sideline where he can offer some help to Williams. The first two games Williams had to start due to Jennings' injury were road games, and Jennings was not there because injured players don't go on road trips with the Giants.
