Sapp calls Oakland a 'black hole'

The always interesting and entertaining Warren Sapp gave the St. Petersburg Times an excellent interview that promoted his public retirement party last weekend.

Among the nuggets in the interview: Sapp's thoughts of his final playing days in Oakland. Sapp, always honest, called the organization "a black hole." He went on to say that there is often a lot of confusion about who calls the shots there.

In the Raiders' defense, however, the team has done a lot this offseason -- since Sapp has retired -- to help turn around a dismal past five years. It is clear that the Raiders have recognized what Sapp feels and are working to change the atmosphere.
