The Kansas City Chiefs added three players Monday.
They were awarded rookie tight end Leroy Banks on waivers. The Southern Mississippi product was waived by Atlanta. The Chiefs also signed rookie free agents Jeffrey Fitzgerald and Andre Jones. Fitzgerald is a defensive lineman from Kansas State and Jones is a defensive back from Akron.
Meanwhile, veteran linebacker Mike Vrabel is planning on attending the OTAs in Kansas City this year. He didn’t attend last year after his unexpected trade from New England. However, Vrabel said he is now comfortable with the Chiefs’ system.
Vrabel is one of the Chiefs’ top leaders. His attendance in May is important. This is a good sign for the team.
