Denver loses another starting running back

DENVER -- Another game another injured Denver Broncos tailback.

Playing in a game in which they will clinch the AFC West title with a win, the Broncos have lost starting tailback P.J. Pope with a left hamstring injury. Pope is questionable to return, according to the Broncos.

He is the seventh Denver tailback this season. Five tailbacks were lost for the season because injuries.

Pope, who was recently elevated from the practice squad, was running well Sunday early in the first quarter. He had 44 yards on six carries.

Tatum Bell, signed off the street last month, and Selvin Young are playing as Denver's lead backs.
