AFC West Showdown: Injury update

In Denver, star rookie left tackle Ryan Clady didn't practice Wednesday because of an ankle injury. He suffered the injury Dec. 14 at Carolina.

Clady didn't practice last Wednesday and Thursday. He played well against Buffalo. Clady is expected to practice Thursday and play Sunday night in the winner-takes-all AFC West showdown in San Diego.

Tight end Daniel Graham didn't practice Wednesday with an ankle injury. He will try to play Sunday.

Meanwhile, star left cornerback Champ Bailey practiced fully Wednesday for the first time since tearing his groin Oct. 20 at New England. Bailey returned against Buffalo after missing seven games. He had to leave the game twice but Denver coach Mike Shanahan declared him fine for the San Diego game on Monday.

In San Diego, defensive tackle Igor Olshansky didn't practice because of an illness. Fellow defensive tackle Jamal Williams didn't practice because of a foot injury. Both players are expected to be able to play Sunday night.
