Evening AFC West notes

The Kansas City Star is reporting former Chiefs coach Marty Schottenheimer is not likely to re-join the team. Schottenheimer talked to Chiefs' ownership last week. The team is currently concentrating on New England executive Scott Pioli.

Here's an interesting interview with Chargers coach Norv Turner. He talks about the Chargers' up-and-down season and he is treated in the city of San Diego. It's a good read.

Watch out for San Diego personnel man Jimmy Raye Jr. to get looks for some of the open general manager opening. Raye has a good reputation as an up and coming evaluator and team leader.

The Broncos signed tackle Clint Oldenburg to a future contract. He has spent time with New England, the Jets and St. Louis.
